Alternatively, use the digital control panel to easily set your cooking temperature and time.
• LIGHT FIRE WITH THE PUSH OF A BUTTON – Light your charcoal with the push of a button using the Automatic Fire Starter (AFS). Simply load up to 4.5 kg (10 pounds) of Kamado Joe Big Block Charcoal into the grill, set your temperature on the app or control panel, and press the AFS button to heat the ignitor element inside the grill. • COOK VARIOUS FOODS AT DIFFERENT TEMPERATURES – Use the 2-Tier Divide & Conquer® Flexible Cooking System for cooking various foods at different temperatures. Simply lower the half-moon cooking grate lower to the flame for a direct sear or use the half-moon heat deflector for an indirect cooking method.
• EFFORTLESSLY LIFT GRILL DOME – Traditionally, ceramic grill domes have been heavy to lift and slam when closing. The Air Lift™ Hinge significantly reduces dome weight to lift and close the grill lid with one finger for a premium grilling experience.
• EASILY CONTROL AIRFLOW IN GRILL – The Kontrol Tower™ Top Vent maintains consistent air setting during dome opening and closing.
